Job Title: RMF EngineerJob Description

Join our team as an RMF Engineer, where you will be pivotal in maintaining IA and ATO compliance of lab networks and systems. Your responsibilities will include vulnerability scanning and remediation, threat mitigation, risk assessment, and maintaining systems in compliance with RMF (DoDI 8510.01). You will also generate Memorandums of Understanding, Interconnection Security Agreements, conduct risk analysis, and manage IA documentation. Additionally, you will perform system administration duties, coordinate with external organizations, maintain security documentation, provide technical support, and enforce security policies across the facility.

Hard Skills

  • ACAS & Nessus vulnerability scans

  • DISA STIG checklist review

  • eMASS artifact management

  • IAVA compliance

  • patch management (Manual, WSUS, & SCCM)

  • antivirus installation (McAfee)

  • VMware administration

  • active directory management

  • Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker

  • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

Soft Skills

  • Ability to coordinate with external organizations

  • Strong communication skills for technical support

  • Risk assessment and mitigation

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Aber Prov Grd, Maryland and some days remote.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence an average of 2 days per week, with potential adjustments based on project demands. The role supports RMF packages for C5ISR and DevCom under the CSIA (Avengers) program.
