Actalent is looking for a full-time Quality Engineer to support our client, onsite in Amherst, NY.
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with an in-depth understanding of quality assurance within an electro-mechanical product environment.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Your role includes conducting process audits, maintaining quality control records, assisting with the creation and upkeep of process documents, technical writing, performing root cause analysis, and contributing to product reliability programs. You will also collaborate with the procurement team to monitor suppliers' product quality performance, provide training support to engineering, quality, and production teams, and identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
