Job Title: Engineering Test Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Technician for our Vehicle Emission and Efficiency Lab (VEL). This role involves performing vehicle emission testing on a chassis dyno to meet SAE/EPA/CARB specification/regulations and industry best practices. You will be responsible for preparing and setting up test vehicles, analyzers, dyno, data acquisition and other equipment. Additional duties include SHED testing, recording and communicating results, vehicle preparation for testing, daily equipment calibration and maintenance, test documentation, and proposing improvements to processes and equipment. Light mechanical work and general maintenance of the work area will also be part of your role. You will adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures and carry out additional projects as assigned.

Work Environment
The role involves working in a Laboratory Environment and Shop Environment, where exposure to fuel, compressed air/gas, emissions and exhaust fumes, and pinching, tripping, electrical, and chemical hazards is expected. The role involves bending and stooping and may require lifting up to 75 lbs. Safety glasses are required. You must have a clear understanding of safety and be able to work safely with hand power tools
