Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description

As a Superintendent, you will manage subcontractors and interact with government customers on a daily basis, focusing on aspects such as quality control and safety. Your responsibilities will include planning, assigning, and directing work according to the scope of work. You will inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to quality standards and applicable codes. Additionally, you will manage the scheduling and successful completion of commissioning of newly installed systems as required. You will also review project specifications, oversee the hiring of subcontractors, and terminate contracts as necessary. A key part of your role will be developing Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Annapolis, Maryland.

Work Environment

Work will be performed on-site at Lahey Hall at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. You will work alongside a team that includes a Site Safety & Health Officer, Quality Control Manager, and a Project Manager.
