Actalent Geologist in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Title: GeologistJob Description

Seeking an individual to support project teams engaged in environmental investigation and remediation projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of progressively responsible work history, including direct work experience in implementing and reporting geological and hydrogeological investigations in accordance with CERCLA and/or RCRA standards.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in the environmental consulting and remediation field

  • Experience in field data collection activities, such as drilling, well installation, and soil and groundwater sampling

Soft Skills

  • Willingness to travel as needed

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Atlanta, Georgia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Candidates need to be located near Atlanta. The role involves travel, and candidates must be open to traveling as required. Junior-level candidates will focus more on environmental testing and field activities, while mid-level candidates will oversee drilling subcontractors and help train and mentor junior staff.
