Actalent Software Developer in Aurora, Colorado
Job Title: Software DeveloperJob Description
We are seeking Software Developers to join our dynamic team. You will have the option to work from our facilities in COSprings or King of Prussia for two days a week, with the rest of the week being remote. Your responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement both frontend and backend software for our complex web application. You will translate software requirements into workable and maintainable solutions within our existing application frameworks. Other responsibilities will include managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment, maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment, and managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications. You will also oversee and guide the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software as well as oversee automated testing and provide feedback to management during the development process. Lastly, you will modify and test changes to previously developed programs.
Hard Skills
secret level software roles
BS and 2 years minimum experience or 6 years experience with no degree
AWS or any cloud computing
Frameworks/Libraries: .net, react or angular
Other tech: Kubernetes, docker, gitlab, mongodb, helm
Soft Skills
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Excellent communication skills
Ability to provide feedback and manage software development process
Ability to modify and test changes to previously developed programs
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Aurora, Colorado and some days remote.
Work Environment
The work environment offers flexibility with an option to work 3 days a week on-site in Colorado Springs. We have 1-2 remote spots left but these are reserved for mid-level developers with 4-6 years of experience. Remote workers will still need to be located within the state.
