Actalent Lab Technician in Batavia, Illinois

Description:
The Quality Control Analyst provides essential support to Quality by ensuring raw materials, intermediates and finished goods are tested and approved.
Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
Tests include, but are not limited to: Specific Gravity, Refractive Index, FTIR, pH, Melting Point, Moisture, Gas Chromatography
Equipment calibrations
Verification of raw material identity and supporting documentation
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree in the Sciences with chemistry lab experience. Academic experience is acceptable or 1-2 years of quality laboratory testing experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the ability to redirect efforts based on shifting demands
Well organized and able to exercise sound judgment in decision making
Ability to follow all safety requirements
Ability to work well independently or within a team setting
