Actalent Systems Engineer in Bellevue, Washington
Job Title: Systems Engineer - Hardware
Job Description
You will focus on the creation, modification, and end-of-life management of material handling and technology systems, including Hardware Controls and Software. You will work on problems within fulfillment centers to design equipment retrofits that improve efficiency or reduce product damage. Your role will involve designing concepts in SolidWorks, testing these in Emulate 3D software, and managing RFP processes to bring designs to production. You will also collaborate with other teams on deployment.
Qualifications:
3 years experience in Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering with a focus on equipment design and technology integration
Experience working with and configuring sensors (vision, depth, etc.) and edge compute devices in industrial settings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook
Knowledge of PLCs/Electromechanical equipment
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site in Bellevue, Washington
