We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Architect to join our team. The projects you will be working on include fast food restaurants, strip malls, and multifamily housing. This role involves creating designs from scratch, as well as remodeling existing structures using AutoCAD. You will be very production-driven, interacting with site personnel and construction teams, and signing off on design documents.
Responsibilities
Create designs from scratch for various types of buildings including fast food restaurants, strip malls, and multifamily housing.
Remodel existing structures utilizing AutoCAD.
Ensure production targets are met efficiently.
Interact with site personnel and construction teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Sign off on design documents after thorough review.
Essential Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD.
3 to 12 years of experience in architectural design.
Ability to interact effectively with clients and site personnel.
Technical and production-focused mindset.
Experience in restaurant, retail, and multifamily projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ideally a registered architect or close to completing registration exams.
Passionate about AutoCAD work and production-focused tasks.
Experience in client interaction is a plus.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite five days a week in the North Reading, MA location. You will also visit various sites to meet with clients.
