Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for providing excellent patient care and a minimum of 6 months long-term care experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for endorsing, interpreting, and enforcing the objectives and procedures of our nursing department. Key responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing personnel activities, conducting daily rounds, reviewing and revising resident care plans, ensuring continuity of care, and maintaining necessary records. You will also participate in the training and consultation of unit personnel and undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by the Supervisor.
Must Have
NYS LPN license
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Experience in long-term care
Soft Skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Brooklyn, New York.
Work Environment
Located in South Brooklyn near Manhattan Beach, the facility is a 705-bed rehabilitation and nursing care center. The environment is designed to support health and independence through diverse programs and services for individuals needing short-stay or long-term inpatient care. Various shifts are available including day, evening, and night shifts with a commitment to a minimum of 3 days per week and rotating weekends. Free parking is available, and public transport involves a combination of train and bus travel.
