Actalent Bioprocessing Engineer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Overview:

  • 100% Remote opportunity (preference for EST)

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bioprocessing/Pharmaceutical background preferred.

  • Preference for candidates with previous experience in process development clinical or commercial scale manufacturing with basic data science skills or an experience in a business analyst or project management role.

  • Experience leading or supporting process optimization/ continuous improvement projects

  • Experience understanding business needs and developing novel yet practical solutions to meet those needs.

  • Some understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements.

  • Some experience developing reports and dashboards in data visualization software e.g. Tableau Spotfire or other digital tools e.g. Smartsheet Sharepoint.

  • Some experience in programming/database compatible languages e.g. R Python SQLdata cleaning/preprocessing software e.g. Alteryx Tableau Prep BI tools/visualization software e.g. Tableau Spotfire Power BI and IDE tools e.g. VS Code Databricks R Studio to manipulate data and draw insights from various data sets.

  • Ability to manage larger projects independently break down high level projects into smaller incremental tasks and elevate relevant issues to project lead and line management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree mathematics computer science engineering or other quantitative discipline
