Actalent Civil Drafter in Carlsbad, California
Description:
KEY AREAS OF FOCUS
Preparing pipeline plans and profiles with limited direction
Assembling mechanical components with limited direction
Researching pipe class plan dimentions and bowl configurations independently
Establishing basis of bearings and coordinate systems for construction drawings
Incorporating engineer feedback and direction on design approach
Creating drawing layouts that are organized and visually appealing
Following Wilson Engineering Drafting Standards making sure the office is following these standards
Interacting with multiple engineers to achieve their project goals
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Being directed from Project Engineer to perform drafting / AutoCAD based tasks for the project they are currently working on
Drafting technical features of the project plan
Skills:
autocad civil 3d, civil engineering, gis, drafting, Design, Site development, Stormwater, structural, pipeline
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical) is a plus, but not required
CERTIFICATIONS
- AutoCAD certification would be a big plus, but not required
YEARS OF EXP
- 5-10 years
