Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
This position will require carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including design, research, prototyping, and engineering documentation. The role involves creating new and modifying existing PLC code, as well as schematics and panel layouts to achieve desired results. The candidate will also prepare specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials.
Hard Skills
Programming in Logix 5000
Programming in TIA Portal
Autocad for creating and modifying schematics and panel layouts
Preparation of BOM
Hands-on experience with industrial equipment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Concord, North Carolina.
Work Environment
The workweek is M-F & 9-5.
Anthing over 40 hours a week is considered overtime.
Some regional Southeast (US) travel required for
machine delivery & hand-off.
