Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
As our new Electrical Engineer, you will join the Engineering Department which is comprised of a multi-discipline design/engineering team dedicated to the industrial manufacturing market. In collaboration with our Lead Electrical Engineer, you will focus on delivering engineering solutions to clients and support projects across various locations in the US. Your primary responsibilities will include designing electrical engineering solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from technical studies and front-end loading stages through detailed design and constructability reviews.
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology
5+ years of engineering experience in the engineering/design field
PE license or pursuing PE licensure
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Experience with engineering calculations using computer modeling software
Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Experience with Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD MEP
Experience with lighting design software AGI32 or similar
Soft Skills
Effective communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate with project teams and external contacts
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina and some days remote.
Work Environment
The work schedule includes work-from-home flexibility, with three days remote and two days in-office (Tuesday mandatory), from 9am to 5pm.
