Actalent QC Technician in Clayton, North Carolina

Job Title: QC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated QC Technician to support the testing critical to batch release for the correct dosage and dose force for our injectable pens. Your role will involve 80% lab work carrying out testing for this part of the process and 20% data entry and retrieval from the LIMS system. You will be part of a team that supports the physical testing lab of chemical, raw material, and PPM components.

Hard Skills

  • GDP - pharma, automotive, aviation, or any industry that emphasizes the importance of strong documentation

  • 1-2 years of experience in any capacity - manufacturing, lab, quality

  • Familiarity with GMP document formatting

  • Experience in a lab environment

Soft Skills

  • Ability to articulate errors effectively to the team

  • Understanding of what proper documentation formatting looks like

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months (could potentially lead to a full-time opportunity).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Clayton, North Carolina.

Work Environment

This role is based on site in Clayton, NC, with a flexible schedule of Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8a m - 4 pm. There may be a need to move to shift work a year or so down the line. You will work alongside the QC team in a role that is not a technical lab based, but involves physical testing.
