Actalent Medical Laboratory Technician Or Medical Technologist in Columbus, Ohio
We are immediately hiring for a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist opening! This is a long-term career opportunities with opportunity for growth! This role will be performing testing on outpatient samples for a large hospital here in the Columbus area.
We are looking for someone with at least an Associates Degree focused in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) OR a Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences (or equivalent). We are open to both entry-level candidates with the degree and people with multiple years of experience; pay will be based on experience. ASCP Certification is preferred, but NOT required.
Description:
Performs medical laboratory testing on patient samples.
Will be working with hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, rapid testing, and other testing as needed.
Will perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing of patient samples (previous phlebotomy experience is not required)
Perform documentation and follow appropriate regulations
Qualifications:
Must have Bachelors Degree OR Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
Do NOT need an ASCP Certification, although it would be a plus
