Job Title: Quality Analyst I

Job Description

Seeking an entry-level Quality Analyst to conduct basic lab testing within a QA/QC environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for pulling samples from the plant floor and conducting tests in three key areas:

1) In-process testing including acid/salt tests and taste testing.

2) pH/Viscosity testing and titrations.

3) Packaging/QA which involves checking labels, code dates, inspecting bottles for integrity, and weighing them. Additional responsibilities include collecting and testing samples according to established procedures, monitoring processes for consistency, documenting all results, maintaining lab equipment, and communicating any non-compliant results to QA Supervisor or QA Manager.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.

Work Environment

The job is located in a food manufacturing facility which has strong food smells throughout the day. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-toed shoes, lab coat, gloves, and safety glasses is required. Candidates should be prepared to wear casual clothing that can get a little dirty.
