Job Title: Landfill Construction Lead
Job Description
As a Landfill Construction Lead, you will be responsible for planning and carrying out construction projects on landfills. This includes trenching, laying pipe, pipe fusion, tie-ins, force mains, well heads, and capping. Also may include new well installation or replacement of pump systems, O2 lines or methane gas. Perform operation and maintenance (O&M) on various liquid management systems, including those driven by pneumatic or electric pumps. You will use PVC or HDPE piping materials and associated equipment to maintain piping systems. Additionally, you will develop a basic understanding of environmental regulations related to LFG and GCCS, adhere to job-related and site-specific health and safety requirements, and be available for on-call responses to GCCS-related malfunctions.
Hard Skills
2-3+ years of experience in landfill gas construction experience
Heavy equipment operation experience such as skidsteers and excavators

Work Environment
This position will sit onsite at a large landfill and work the construction side, with working hours typically from 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and some rare weekends as needed based on site conditions. The role demands flexibility to meet deadlines and requires presence on-site. You could work anywhere between 50-60 hours a week.
