Actalent QC Chemist in COVINGTON, Ohio
Currently hiring a long term opening in a Food Science Laboratory. This is an Entry-Level role that requires a Bachelors Degree in Science. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Food Science or Chemistry and a long term interest in Food Science.
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm during the contract period, Approximately 6 months.
Upon converting this person will move to a 2-2-3 schedule. They prefer the person is open to working Night shift 6pm-6a; but would be open to candidates that can only work day shift 6a-6pm.
Job Description
As a QC Chemist, you will analyze samples including raw materials, finished products, process equipment, and environmental aspects. Your responsibilities include testing raw materials and finished products in compliance with cGMP requirements, participating in laboratory investigations, operating lab equipment, and contributing to internal and external quality audits. Additionally, you will maintain your personal lab work area and assist with general lab cleaning. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of products by adhering to strict regulatory standards and procedures.
