Job Title: Chemical TechnicianJob Description

Join our Aerospace FAA repair station as a Chemical Technician in the quality control lab. In this role, you will be integral to the repair process by managing the chemical plating baths that enhance the durability and finish of aerospace parts. Your responsibilities will include testing the chemical baths to ensure they meet specifications, making necessary chemical adjustments, managing chemical inventory, and conducting weekly changes and monthly testing of the plating baths. You will also collaborate with the health and safety team to maintain strict safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) within the facility.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Detroit, Michigan.

Work Environment

This position is based in a production/manufacturing setting within an industrial lab. The lab maintains cleanliness, however, the surrounding facility can be loud and dirty. The role is deadline intensive and requires the ability to lift at least 50lbs. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays required.
