Actalent Technology Designer in Edmonds, Washington

Job Title: Technology DesignerJob Description

We are a growing and leading engineering firm actively seeking a Telecom Designer for upcoming commercial, government, and educational projects in Seattle. As a Telecom Designer, you will interact with clients and other disciplines, utilize Autocad or Revit, and plan and design various integrated systems in the technology sector. This includes outside plant cabling, structured cabling, wireless networks, access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships, coordinating with project managers, and preparing Division 27 and 28 technical specifications.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years experience in commercial, government, and educational projects

  • Proficiency in Autocad or Revit

  • Experience in planning and designing various integrated systems

  • Experience in preparing Division 27 and 28 technical specifications

Soft Skills

  • Ability to interact with clients and other disciplines

  • Ability to maintain client relationships

  • Coordination with project managers

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Edmonds, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

The job will initially involve 2+ days in the office with 3+ remote days. As you grow with the team, there will be more opportunities for remote work.
