Facilities Engineer for Multi-Billion Dollar OEM

Job Description

As a Facilities Engineer, you will establish and manage annual maintenance and repair plans and budgets. You will monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Key responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, managing facility maintenance and repair performance, and establishing and managing annual investment plans. Additionally, you will review construction drawings, make modifications, write construction specifications, manage new facility quotations and construction orders, and oversee operational safety inspections. Your role will also involve optimizing operation efficiency, managing energy saving performance, and ensuring compliance with PSM/ISO standards.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years experience in facilities/HVAC engineer role

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Work Environment

The facility is still in start-up mode with heavy construction, equipment moves, and installations ongoing. Flexibility with duties is required during the start-up phase. Once production begins, flexibility on shift is necessary (12-hour shifts, 3x2x2 schedule).
