Actalent CAD Designer I in Ellicott City, Maryland
Description:
Actalent's client is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team in direct support of new wireless site builds, site upgrades and electrical/gas/water utilities network and infrastructure upgrades. Responsibilities include:
Understand end customers' standards & templates
Learn wireless equipment and carrier specific equipment and their usage
Learn electric/gas/water utilities terminology, specific equipment and their usage
Read and analyze blueprints/drawings and routinely produce accurate drawings in a prompt and efficient manner
Skills & Qualifications
AutoCAD proficiency
Experience/ability to learn with the production of civil engineering drawings for wireless new site builds and upgrades and/or utility network and infrastructure upgrades is required
2-year technical degree or appropriate commensurate experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Able to work at a PC for extended hours
Attention to detail
