Job Title: GIS ConsultantJob Description
Seeking a seasoned GIS Consultant with extensive experience in GIS, particularly within the utilities sector (Electric, Gas, Telecom, Water). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise systems, IT administration, and customer-facing consulting. This role demands a professional adept in developing, architecting, and deploying enterprise systems, not merely troubleshooting or mapping. The candidate must possess the ability to travel nationally and internationally.
Hard Skills
BS/BA Degree in a relevant field
10+ years of experience in GIS
5+ years of experience in GIS Consulting
5+ years of experience in Utilities GIS
Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SAP Hana)
Proficiency in ArcFM Desktop and XI Series, ArcGIS Pro, Esri's Utility Network, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, ArcGIS Experience Builder
Experience in Python and Geoprocessing Tools
SQL querying
Web Server Administration and IIS
IT system troubleshooting
Soft Skills
Clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written)
Project management skills
Customer-facing consulting skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Fort Collins, Colorado and some days remote.
Work Environment
Hybrid work setup, requiring presence 3 times a week at the office in Fort Collins. While preference is given to local candidates, remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates who meet all requirements.
