Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) where you will efficiently prepare engineering plans under the direct supervision of a professional engineer, ensuring all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Your responsibilities will include performing various design activities, conducting feasibility studies, overseeing junior staff, and ensuring project specifications meet local and federal guidelines. This role requires a meticulous approach to preparing job specifications, contract documents, and conducting quality control reviews before plan submissions. Your contributions will directly impact project success, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Hard Skills

  • Engineering plan preparation of residential projects

  • Grading, culvert/storm drain design

  • Inlet calculations, dry utilities design

  • Feasibility studies and site investigations

  • Survey data interpretation and modification

  • Preparation of job specifications and contract documents

Soft Skills

  • Quality control and technical assistance provision

  • Supervisory skills for junior staff

  • Project management assistance

  • Research and compliance with regulations

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
