Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Coordinator (Intake)Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a seasoned Pharmacy Technician ready to step into the role of a Patient Care Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing referral contents for completeness and accuracy. You will create patient profiles from scan or fax images, ensuring correct patient and provider information is inputted. Additionally, you will conduct initial checks of prescriptions to ensure clinical accuracy for processing. Communication is key in this role, as you will be communicating with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing information, or patient concerns. Lastly, you will maintain updated and concise progress notes to aid other roles within the workflow in quickly assessing the status of the referral. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $21-$22. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Work Environment
This position operates on a schedule from Monday to Friday, starting at 7pm CST. Training is provided for the first 3 weeks from 9am to 6pm CST. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in Pharmacy. You must also hold a valid Pharmacy Technician License.
