Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
We are seeking a diligent Medical Assistant to float between front and back operations, managing tasks such as running and ordering prescriptions on behalf of our providers, and coordinating labs for patients. The successful candidate will be processing 300-400 prescriptions daily and will frequently interact with patients, providers, pharmacies and laboratories for patient orders. The role will involve working in a high-volume setting, rooming patients and working with Physicians on a regular basis in a traditional medical office setting. The ideal candidate must exhibit strong professionalism and customer service skills throughout the day. Flexibility around job duties and functions is a key requirement. The role also involves facilitating and guiding patients for telehealth appointments, hence strong technology and video conferencing skills are crucial. Proficiency in using the EMR System E Clinical works is a requirement.

This is a fully on-site position in Fountain Valley, California.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will be working in a high-volume Medical Clinic setting supporting 17 doctors and seeing 250+ patients per day. The clinic offers a range of services including Peds, Urgent Care, Adult Care and Radiology. The location is conveniently within 1 mile of several great restaurants including 85 degree bakery, Shabuya, Stonefire grill, etc.
