Job Title: Manufacturing Technician - FillingJob Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, your primary responsibilities will be to fill, cap, assemble, and label vials, bottles, and tubes. You will work both individually or as part of a team, in accordance with our established standard operating procedures, to ensure our customers receive a product that meets or exceeds quality specifications. You will also need to efficiently communicate and collaborate with work groups to ensure the completion of daily production. This role requires working in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to room specific PPE requirements. You will be expected to safely operate both manual and automated filling equipment. On top of these responsibilities, you will need to complete our company training requirements on time and operate within all ISO and FDA standards pertaining to Site Manufacturing.

Hard Skills

• Experience with using repeater and manual pipettes

• Ability to operate both manual and automated filling equipment

• Knowledge of biology, chemistry and basic manufacturing principles

• Understanding and interpretation of team metrics

• Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice

Soft Skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• Strong customer service skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to start work timely and maintain strong attendance performance

• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in FREDERICK, MD.

Work Environment

You will be working in a Laboratory/Cleanroom environment. Daily gowning requirements for all activities include lab coats, hair nets, and safety glasses. Training will be provided through one-on-one instruction following process specific on-the-job-training (OJT's) until you are proficient to work individually.
