Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Grand PrairieJob Description

Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and contribute to the accurate, efficient, and safe dispensing of medications. You will be responsible for filling prescription items as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, and ensuring proper labeling. Your role includes participating in inventory checks, preparing various medications, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Additionally, you will assist in training new employees and may work in specialized areas such as the Controlled Drugs Room or with automated dispensing systems.

Hard Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in a pharmacy setting

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Ability to operate a computer

  • Ability to recognize and identify medications

  • Pharmacy Technician license

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Work Environment

Shifts available include 12pm-9pm and 12am-6am. Possible weekend work required.
