Job Title: X-Ray TechnologistJob Description
In this role, you will be required to update patient information in the Athena EMR system and provide excellent bedside care, explaining procedures to patients. You will operate the digital X-ray system and imaging equipment efficiently on orthopedic patients, and follow doctors' orders and scan necessary information into the PACS. Your responsibilities will also include producing quality diagnostic images for interpretation, maintaining x-ray room cleanliness post-examinations and procedures, obtaining patient information for fluoroscopy procedures, documenting fluoroscopy time, and ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations. You will have the ability to perform daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual quality control, and will work across multiple specialties including orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, and spinal care.

Experience in AP, lateral, and oblique scans

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Work Environment
You will be working 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with varying hours per location and day. You will know your schedule at least one week in advance, if not for the whole month. The earliest shift starts at 7:30am and the latest ends at 6pm. There will be rotating Saturday coverage, likely once every six weeks or when volunteering for overtime. Saturday shifts are from 8am to 12pm only. You will receive 5 paid vacation days, 6 paid holidays, and 5 sick days. You will be joining a team of 3 techs.
