Job Title: Architectural DesignerJob Description
As an Architectural Designer, you will communicate and develop designs with project managers, consultants, engineers, and other designers. You will leverage due diligence survey information along with client design specifications to produce construction document sets. Your role will involve leading project production from the Preliminary through Construction Administration phase, working on a variety of multisite commercial projects weekly. You will independently apply architectural concepts and designs, delegate work to junior designers, mentor them, perform QA/QC on projects, review shop drawings, attend site visits, manage project documents for permitting, respond to comments, and assist with interior development as needed.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois and some days remote.
Work Environment
The position offers a close-knit family environment within a very open and collaborative office space. The architectural team is divided into a production group and a PM group. This production-based role may involve work in any of the four specialized teams. The work schedule is hybrid, with 2-3 days of remote work, flexible start and finish hours, typically from 8am-5pm. You will have your own desk and computer and will be involved in quick turnaround projects ranging from light commercial buildings to veterinary hospitals, providing exposure to a project from start to finish.
