Actalent Structural Engineer (DoD) in Honolulu, Hawaii
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the structural analysis and design of various structures, including building vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures using DoD UFC codes.
Candidates must either have or be able to obtain a Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
Candidates need to reside or need to relocate to Hawaii in less than 3 weeks of job offer.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design of building vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures using DoD UFC codes.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering solutions for structural projects.
Utilize AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural design and documentation, with experience in ECMS.
Collaborate with project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE or SE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on the analysis and design of various structures using DoD UFC codes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or ECMS.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Additional Requirements:
Must have or be able to obtain a Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
