Job Title: Engineering Technician Level I
Job Description
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of drone electro-mechanical systems and final products. Your responsibilities will include assembling sub-systems and final assemblies using provided tools, following pre-determined work instructions, and collaborating closely with engineering to implement changes and new features. Additionally, you will assist in updating documentation, service and repair products as necessary, and keep the production lead and management informed of any issues, problems, and progress. Your role will also involve a continuous improvement mindset to help enhance processes.
Hard Skills
Proven experience reading and understanding work instructions/engineering drawings/electrical schematics
Experience using MS Office
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Experience with avionics, drones, or complex electro-mechanical systems
Soft Skills
Conscientious and responsible
A keen eye for detail
Ability to work with small parts, assemblies, and fasteners in an organized manner
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s)
This position is full-time and long-term/ w2 employment through Actalent Engineering for 9 months before transitioning internally
Work Environment
Onsite- climate-controlled production facility located on the northeast side of Huntsville, AL.
Work hours - 7/7:30am - 3/3:30pm
