Actalent Job Captain in Irvine, California
As an Architectural Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring project accuracy and adherence to design intent. Your responsibilities include:
Discipline Coordination: Collaborate with various disciplines and consultants involved in the project. Review their drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with design intent.
Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve conflicts within the design.
BIM Standards Implementation: Understand and apply specific BIM standards as required by clients.
Design Development Reviews: Attend design development (DD) reviews and value engineering (VE) meetings. Coordinate revisions with team members and consultants.
Construction Document Assembly: Compile a comprehensive set of construction documents for distribution to clients and consultants, with support from other team members.
Code Analysis: Generate a general code analysis for projects.
Revit/CAD Standards Adherence: Follow established Revit and AutoCAD standards and procedures.
Project Support: Assist with projects from schematic design through construction administration, utilizing both Revit and AutoCAD.
Building Code Awareness: Stay proactive about upcoming building code updates and possess a strong knowledge of constructability issues and building codes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency: Must be skilled in producing technical documents (CDs) using both Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Architectural Experience: Minimum 5 years of architectural experience in an office setting.
Technical Skills: Ability to quickly and accurately produce plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models from hand sketches.
Revit Project Experience: Completion of at least 4 projects in Revit is preferred.
Independence: Capable of working independently most of the time.
Experience Level:
Intermediate (5+ years of architectural experience)
