The Sr. DRE - Chassis Steering is pivotal in steering system design and release, encompassing steering column assembly, intermediate shaft, coupling, and steering gear. This role supports advanced engineering investigations for future steering systems aligned with Assisted Driving advancements. Reporting to the Chassis Manager and collaborating with Chassis Suspension engineers and Vehicle Development teams, the candidate will lead steering system implementations that balance world-class performance with cost-effective objectives. Responsibilities include leading supplier selection, managing supplier relationships, steering system component development from inception to certification, maintaining technical specifications, and supporting prototype and production events globally. The role also involves regular interaction with suppliers to ensure system development aligns with program timelines and meeting certification standards such as FMVSS and ECE.

Work Site
