Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Distribution Engineer to provide comprehensive engineering, design, and planning assessments for overhead and underground utility systems. In this role, you will evaluate system operations, develop project scopes, and design replacements in adherence to utility standards. You will also create accurate estimates and engineering drawings using various software tools, coordinate right-of-way acquisitions, and ensure project schedules and forecasts are adhered to. Regular site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information will be a part of your responsibilities.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Structural, Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

• Internship or utility experience

• Proficiency in BlueBeam, AutoCAD, GIS software

• Knowledge of ARMS, JETS/JETS scheduling tool, DETS, CYME, DISTGIS/ArcMap

• Understanding of OH and UG fiber optic and telecommunication distribution
