Actalent is currently hiring a Plant Mechanical Engineer for a client in Kansas City with well-rounded technical abilities and problem solving skills. Qualified candidates must have a four year engineering degree. Join our team as a Plant Mechanical Engineer where you will engage in tasks and responsibilities related to planning and executing activities concerned with the design, construction, modification, procurement, and maintenance of production equipment and machinery. You will collaborate with other Engineers to coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules. Your role also involves preparing bid sheets and contracts, collecting equipment downtime information, and preparing preventative maintenance and calibration programs.
