Actalent Lead Electrical Engineer (Hybrid) in Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Title: Lead Electrical EngineerJob Description

Provide E&IC engineering support to proposal/project teams in the planning, design, execution, and commissioning for projects. Review and coordinate the work of other E&IC engineers, ensuring cost, quality, and schedule requirements are met. Set up engineering work plans for complex projects across various project types including FEED, EP, EPC, and BOO. Prepare essential E&IC documents and ensure compliance with standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. Manage and lead technical discussions with key stakeholders to facilitate appropriate technical decisions. Support formal studies and presentations, identify improvement opportunities, and provide innovative technical solutions to complex issues. Maintain compliance with standard practices and policies, ensuring a safe work environment.

Hard Skills

  • E&IC engineering

  • Preparation of Specifications/Datasheets, P&IDs, Electrical Load Lists

  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, & SCADA programs

Soft Skills

  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills

  • Strong communication and interfacing skills

  • Leadership in meetings and team coordination

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee and some days remote.
