Job Title: Civil DrafterJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will utilize CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing projects. You will support Mappers, Engineers, and Project Managers through various tasks and ensure the quality of your work before submitting it for peer review. Additionally, you will perform some QA/QC of other designers and drafters' work.
Responsibilities
Use CAD software to prepare plats, property sketches, alignment sheets, permit drawings, hydrostatic drawings, and typical construction methods for pipeline routing projects.
Support Mappers, Engineers, and Project Managers through a variety of tasks.
Utilize Excel tables with engineering information to add details to drawings.
Ensure the quality of drawings through self-checking before peer review.
Perform QA/QC of work done by other designers and drafters.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
Experience in civil/survey drafting, grading, pipeline routing, pipeline design, pipeline construction, and pipeline engineering.
Knowledge of GIS software is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the Lexington office. You will have an individual desk equipped with multiple monitors.
