Job Title: Field TechnologistJob Description
As a Field Technologist, you will engage in a dynamic role that includes 50% travel across the U.S. and 50% work in a state-of-the-art lab environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine investigations and tests on transmission line components, executing mechanical and electrical tests, and performing various technical studies in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, and material science. You will assemble test setups with data acquisition systems, participate in the analysis of test results using standard software, and prepare detailed reports to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will manage tasks related to shipping, receiving, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Join our team in a BRAND NEW 30,000 sq/ft lab located in Louisville, KY, which features a temperature-controlled environment. Choose between a 4 10's schedule or 5 8's, depending on your preference. The facility includes advanced testing areas such as a LineVue robot testing area, thermomechanical testing lab, and current cycle testing lab, all designed to enhance productivity and innovation.
