Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Design Engineer to manage and lead site design projects in various locations across Wisconsin. This position will be based in our Wisconsin office, with occasional travel within the state to our other offices based on client needs. This role will involve day-to-day site/municipal design activities, technical design, contract document production, quality control, permitting, shop drawing review, field inspections, and project closeout. You will be expected to provide engineering designs and technical leadership to site design engineers, collaborate cohesively with design engineers to develop site designs in accordance with client standards and specifications, and build client relations. You will also assist with proposals and business development activities as necessary.
Hard Skills
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
Site Design
Project Leadership
Mentoring and training other designers and drafting staff members
Ability to interpret and understand plans, sketches, and specifications
Ability to respond to technical inquiries and complex issues
Ability to manage a variety of project sizes with limited supervision
Client relation building
Project presentations and meeting facilitation

This is a permanent position.
Work Environment
This is an office-based position in our Wisconsin office with opportunity for occasional travel within Wisconsin to our other offices. Overnight travel is not anticipated. You will be working on both public and private projects, with the goal to grow our private work. We have established relationships with public entities such as DFD, State Fair park, Dept. of corrections, Fort McCoy, Army, and we work with Architects on these projects.
