Job Title: Research Analyst
Job Description
Join our dynamic In vitro Cell Culture team, where you will engage in vital research tasks focused on cell culture. As a Research Analyst, you will handle biological samples such as plasma, blood, urine, and feces from both animal and human sources. Your responsibilities include running basic wet chemistry techniques like pipetting, cell counting, and centrifugation, as well as maintaining and growing cell lines for assays. You will be deeply involved in studies from start to finish, operating Mass Spec, performing extractions, seeding cells onto assay plates, harvesting plates, and running extractions. This role requires executing precise analytical techniques and contributing to our understanding of biological trends.
Hard Skills
B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or related life science degree
3-4 years of sterile cell culture minimum- maintaining stocks of cells. Need to have industry experience over academia.
3-4 years of experience running LC-MS- more preferred than GC-MS
3-4 years of sterile technique experience
Any invitro DNPK experience is a plus
Any PCR experience is a plus- can train and they won't do a ton
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Madison, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Busy laboratory environment within the Metabolism-In vitro team, where workflow forecasting is short term (6-8 weeks). This role is part of a contingent workforce intended to manage fluctuating work volumes effectively.
