Actalent Lab Assistant in Milpitas, California
Key Responsibilities
Execute test protocols, transfer verification/validation plans and document results.
Manufacture products including reagents, buffer, calibrators and controls, intermediate products and complete batch records while maintaining cGMPs and GDP stadards
Perform manufacturing testing, review and analyze data
Perform laboratory activities including weighing, mixing, transferring chemicals and biologicals.
Maintain laboratory equipment including route PM and calibration.
Maintain and stock general laboratory supplies
Work closely with quality and operational stakeholders, initiate and support investigations for nonconformances and deviations during manufacturing
Follow laboratory’s established policies and procedures, update supervisor and/or manager on all issues in a timely manner
-Perform other job duties as required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred) and 1+ years of related experience and/or training preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required with 3+ years of related experience
Previous experience working in a laboratory.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
-Strong laboratory skills including pipetting, safety, and hazardous chemicals and biologicals handling.
Knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP, ISO and IVD regulations
Ability to be organized and detail oriented to be able to prioritize own and other’s work and meet business productivity metrics
Ability to routinely lift 25 pounds
