Job Title: Construction Inspector

Job Description

  • We are seeking a Construction Quality Inspector for a field role that provides inspection services for transportation related projects. In this role, you will be responsible for performing observation and inspection duties on various projects, ensuring they meet local DOT regulations and project-specific requirements. Regular communication with project teams, both internally and externally, is a key part of this role. This position also involves training and mentoring other Quality Inspectors. You will be expected to maintain and pursue nationally recognized DOT certifications.

Hard Skills

  • Understanding of project specifications and DOT related specifications

  • Ability to perform observation and inspection duties

  • Experience with schedule of material control

  • Ability to obtain DOT certifications

Soft Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with project teams

  • Ability to train and mentor others

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This role is primarily field-based.
