Job Title: Resource Planning Manager

Job Description

The Resource Planning Manager is instrumental in managing all aspects of long-term power supply, including portfolio analysis and resource procurement. This role is key in directing long-term power supply strategies and developing sustainable portfolios, strategic plans, and community programs. Responsibilities also include competitive sourcing, procurement of long-term power supply options, and negotiation of power supply contracts. Additionally, the manager will conduct long-term load forecasting and evaluate demand-side management programs. The role also involves preparing compliance reports related to power supply, transmission, and renewable energy credits, as well as researching market conditions to evaluate long-term business opportunities and threats.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, economics, or similar

  • 10+ years of experience in quantitative and financial analysis

  • Experience in power, transmission, electrical industry (preferred)

  • Ability to prepare various compliance reports

  • Long-term load forecasting

  • Competitive sourcing and procurement
