Actalent Project Manager in Monroe, Connecticut

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Seeking a diligent Project Manager to oversee key projects in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. The role involves attending jobsite meetings, purchasing materials, and managing the scope of work. You will be responsible for scheduling, handling RFI's, submittals, and take-offs, as well as ensuring projects stay under budget and ahead of schedule. This position focuses on HVAC, plumbing, and piping installations within commercial buildings, operating from 7am to 4pm.

Hard Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager in Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing

  • Experience with commercial, retail, healthcare, and multi-family projects

  • Proficiency in ground-up or retrofit projects

  • Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, RFI's, submittals, take-offs, buyouts

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Proactive in problem-solving and decision-making

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Monroe, Connecticut.

Work Environment

Projects located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties with standard working hours from 7am to 4pm.
