Actalent Quality Technician in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Job Title: Quality TechnicianJob Description

Seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for a full-time role, working on the 2nd shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory alternating Saturdays—overtime guaranteed on Saturdays. The role involves conducting standardized tests on intermediate and finished food products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as size, color, and flavor. Responsibilities include examining and approving product labels, conducting flavor analysis which entails tasting products, checking and reporting on the operation of metal detectors, gathering and preparing samples for lab analysis, and participating in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Hard Skills

A fast-paced food manufacturing environment located in the Calhoun Road Plant, which specializes in solid products like cakes. Note: the environment can be a bit colder.
