Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties, which include performing specific duties that support patient care, taking vitals, managing client intake, rooming patients, and documentation. This role requires working in an outpatient setting and being certified with AAMA or ARMA.

Hard Skills

  • Medical Assistant Diploma

  • 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience

  • CMA/RMA Certification (Must be willing to obtain within 90 days of starting if you don't hold the certification)

  • Specialty experience

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Haven, Connecticut.

Work Environment

You will be working with a large medical organization with potential to float near New Haven. You will be part of a multispecialty unit, working with multiple providers throughout the week. Normal working hours are approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but you must be available from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
