Actalent Structural Engineer in New York, New York
Currently hiring for Structural Inspectors and Facade Inspectors across NYC! These opportunities are with an Architecture + Engineering company that specializes in building design, parking structures, and restoration/rehabilitation projects!!! Job Description:
Will preform inspections for Facade, Parking Structures, Buildings, and Restoration projects throughout the five buroughs and occasional travel to Long Island
Will be preforming Building Inspections, Facade Inspections, and Scaffolding duties
Will train and develop under Professional Engineers learning the design and inspection of parking structures and garages
Will train under Professional Engineers doing technical design, detailing, and specification of structural repairs and new structural design on restoration projects
Will preform Structural Calculations
Report Writing
Will work with the Professional Engineer's on projecting a quantity of a building project, write the report, and then create a plan. Once plan is in place you will go to the job site and confirm the projected quantity with the Contractor and then do the scaffolding
CAD Design and Drafting
Parking Garage Inspections
Skills:
Experience with Retaining Walls, Structural Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Wood Structures
5 years or experience doing Structural Inspections
Inspection of Facade and Restoration Building Projects
Experience doing scaffolding
Experience with Structural Repair Detailing
AutoCAD
Structural Calculations
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with design repair of roofs
4 Hour User Scaffolding Certification
16 Hour Use Scaffolding Certification
OSHA Certification
