Actalent Electrical Engineer in Olathe, Kansas
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description
Seeking a proactive Electrical Engineer to plan and implement new programs and products into production efficiently and cost-effectively. This role involves providing technical support to the production team, identifying and justifying new technological needs, and leading continuous improvement activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and modifying work instructions, drafting tooling and manufacturing requirements, and developing risk reduction plans for manufacturing processes.
Hard Skills
Familiarity with Product Failure Effects Mode Analysis (PFEMA) and Design Failure Effects Mode Analysis
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma principles
Experience in drafting tooling and manufacturing requirements
Ability to create and modify work instructions and operating procedures
Soft Skills
Leadership in continuous improvement activities
Effective utilization of Training Within Industry (TWI) and Job Instruction
Strong technical support skills
Excellent risk management and operational justification skills

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Olathe, Kansas.
Work Environment
This role requires collaboration with the Design Engineering and Production teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes. All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
